Glamp In These Super Flashy Tents At Kakadu National Park
The flashiest camp in the NT ✨
The Northern Territory’s Kakadu National Park possesses a kind of natural beauty you won’t find anywhere else on earth and we reckon it should be on the bucket list of every Aussie traveller. But understandably, roughing it in the harsh Australian outback isn’t for everyone.
Leave the swags at home and unhook the caravan, because Flash Camp is returning to Kakadu for another season of super-lux camping.
Set in a beautifully shady campground, Flash Camp @ Kakadu offers bespoke bell tent accommodation right in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park. It’s the perfect choice for adventure seekers who still enjoy the finer things.
Each tent comes kitted out with spring-foam mattresses on pallet bases, quality linens, fresh towels, bamboo furnishings, complimentary toiletries and electricity.
After a long day of exploring the park, guests can come back to the campsite and unwind by the pool at the adjoining Cooinda Lodge. Oh, there’s also a restaurant, bar and pop-up food trucks that operate throughout peak season.
“Flash Camp is ideal for travellers who like the idea of camping but don’t want to have to have to bring all the camping equipment with them, let alone put up the tent and then take it down,” said Cooinda General Manager, Brett Skinner.
“It offers a harmonious balance of comfort and reconnection with nature, and is perfect for the season because there is rarely any rain and nights are mild.”
Rates start at $140 per night, and bookings can be made via the Flash Camp website.
