David Attenborough Has A New Documentary Out This Week And It Looks Incredible

A new David Attenborough documentary, which travels to all seven continents, is set to premiere this week.

The new series, titled Seven Worlds, One Planet, will air this Sunday October 27 in the UK on the BBC. The series will be broadcast over seven weeks, tackling one continent at a time. Just as Blue Planet put plastic waste under the microscope, Attenborough’s new doco will explore the impact of climate change on the natural world.

In the episode dedicated to Antarctica, we’ll see how the changing climate has affected grey-headed albatrosses, as well as seeing the impact of whaling on great whale populations at the South Pole. The show has a conservationist message at heart and aims to empower individuals to make a positive impact.

The incredible footage took over four years to compile, shot everywhere from Antarctica to Iceland’s black sand beaches. Adding to the majesty is a score from Hans Zimmer, who also collaborated on a track with Sia called ‘Out There’ for the documentary.
