What is it? The pride of Portland, Voodoo Doughnuts is a doughnut shop famous for their insane sugary treats.

Where can you get it? There are two stores in Portland and a third in the city of Eugene. The company has plans to expand to Japan, Taiwan, China and the home of weird, Austin, Texas.

What’s in it? There’s about 100 different flavours and some of these were surely created by a mad man. Some favourites include: the Loop doughnut (it’s covered in Fruit Loops), Diablos Rex doughnut (chocolate covered with a spooky vanilla frosted pentagram) and the mega Tex-Ass Challenge doughnut (a giant abomination that equals six of Voodoo’s regular sized doughnuts – if you finish it in 80 seconds or less, you get your money back).

Is it good for you? Sadly, no. Voodoo even had to discontinue two of their most popular doughnuts because of an order from local health officials. There was the NyQuill Glazed Doughnut (basically cold medicine in a donut) and the Vanilla Pepto Crushed Tums doughnut (Pepto, a low-level medication, and Tums, an antacid, are both used to treat upset stomachs).

How much does it cost? Depending on topping, it’s really nothing over $4. Oh and did we mention this place is 24 hours? Let your doughnut daydreams commence.
