You’ve Gotta Eat This: Stuffed Pizza at Giordano’s, Chicago

What is it? Slightly different to the iconic deep-dish pizza that hails from the north-east of the US, stuffed pizza is thicker, mightier and tastier than any thin crust you will ever try.

Where can you get it? Finding the best pizza in Chicago is like finding a needle in a haystack, but everyone has their favourites. If stuffed pizza takes your fancy, head to iconic downtown Chicago landmark, Giordano’s for their delicious and impressive pizza pies.

What’s in it? Giordano’s prides itself on its cheese to base ratio – these are probably the cheesiest pizzas you will ever lay your eyes on. They come stuffed with anything from pepperoni, mushrooms, bacon, broccoli, olives and more.

How much does it cost? A basic cheese stuffed pizza starts at around $25USD ($33AUD), then prices go up by filling.

Is it good for you? On a scale of thin crust to deep dish to stuffed pizza, it’s probably the worst. But you should know, this is no reasonable pizza, this is an event pizza. It will leave you speechless.
