You’ve Gotta Eat This: Doh!Nut Burger
It's the glazed donut stuffed with a cheeseburger that no one asked for.
Have you ever tasted something so delicious, so mind-bogglingly awesome that you immediately wanted to tell everyone you know about it? You’re not alone. Getting to taste unique offerings from around the world is probably the best part of travel, so there’s no shame in planning a whole trip around one special-looking dish, is there? Because you know in your heart of hearts that you’ve just gotta eat this.
What is it? A burger abomination from a mad mastermind, the Doh!Nut Burger brings all the things Homer Simpson loves together: a glazed donut stuffed with a cheeseburger and chocolate bacon.
Where can you get it? Philly baby. At the glorious burger joint PYT in the heart of Philadelphia.
What’s in it? Beef patty, american cheese and chocolate-covered bacon on a glazed donut bun. For real.
Is it good for you? Do you really need to ask?
How much does it cost? $13 USD, which I guess is pretty reasonable for this monster of a thing. You also get crispy waffle fries and a spicy pickle on the side so you’re pretty much set.
Fun fact: The Doh!Nut isn’t the only franken-food on PYT’s menu, they offer up a Coco-Crispies Burger (basically cocopops added to a chicken patty with apple chipolte slaw) and a PB&J Bun Burger (deep fried kettle chip coated PB&J sandwiches as buns, banana-sriacha marinated juicy beef patty, applewood bacon on top). Good god.
