Your Fave TV Shows Are Coming To Life At A New Comedy Festival In San Fran
Ever wondered what South Park and Seinfeld would look like IRL? Now’s your chance. Comedy Central and Superfly (known for music festivals like Bonnaroo and Outside Lands) are coming together this year to put on a brand new comedy festival in San Fransisco.
Comedy Central Presents Colossal Clusterfest offers so much more than some wonderful alliteration: there’ll be world renowned comedy performances, live music, food and more, with much of it modelled on Comedy Central’s most beloved comedies, including South Park, Seinfeld and It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia.
South Park fanatics are in for a treat, with special attractions including a Chili Con Carnival, a Manbearpig Roast and the Small-Town Food Court featuring all your favourite South Park eateries, like Casa Bonita and Raisins.
Seinfeld lovers can burst into a full-scale replica of Jerry’s apartment, while enjoying a Seinfeld Smorgasbord, including many of the show’s favourite foods – the actual Soup Nazi (Larry Thomas) will be reprising his role for the event.
For the Always Sunny fans out there, Paddy’s Pub will be recreated (including that seriously disgusting bathroom), the gang’s favourite foods, trivia, live music and plenty more.
Some of the best known comedians around will be in tow for special stand-up performances, including Jerry Seinfeld himself, Bill Burr, Kevin Hart, Broad City, Sarah Silverman, Fred Armisen, Hannibal Buress, Anna Faris and Bob Odenkirk. On top of this, there’ll be music from Ice Cube, Lil Dicky, Ty Segall, Tegan and Sara and Vince Staples, among others.
If ever you needed another reason to visit San Francisco, this is it.
