As their website states, you can choose to “do it all or do nothing at all” at the Grand Riviera Princess in Playa Del Carmen, a city right on the edge of the Caribbean Sea in Mexico. Having a pool directly outside your room kind of makes the whole “do it all” thing sound a little overwhelming when you can spend your days lazing about in this swimming haven. There’s really no reason to ever leave.
Of the 672 (!) rooms at the hotel, 42 of them feature this glorious backdoor pool treat. There’s also 12 other swimming pools at the resort, a dozen restaurants and bars, and heaps of daytime activities including trips to the white sandy beaches just a few blocks away.
