You Can Now Stay In A Hello Kitty Hotel Room
Where else but Japan?
There’s something about Japan’s cute feline friend Hello Kitty that never gets old. These days you can find everything from restaurants, to transport to, er, melons that have the trademark whiskers and bow. Not to mention the Hello Kitty beauty spa. Now, a Japanese hotel chain has added the ultimate Hello Kitty hotel experience for fans.
The Keio Plaza Hotel chain in the suburbs of Shinjuku and Tama have Hello Kitty packages for their guests that include themed furniture, food, decor and amenities. Check out the oversized heel and and bow sofas with the reigning Princess herself overseeing it all.
Some of the food on offer include omelettes, sandwiches, hot drinks and cakes, all with the signature Hello Kitty stamp.
You can also take home themed dolls, skin care sets and letter writing kits to complete your trip, and make yourself a nice pot of tea in the Hello Kitty kettle.
Shinjuku is right in the heart of Tokyo and Tama is 30 kilometres west of the city. However the Tama branch is right near the Sanrio Puroland theme park, which is home to Hello Kitty and other characters. If you’re a super Hello Kitty fan, this could be the hotel experience you’ve been looking for.
