Vivid LIVE Has Announced Its Free Artist Talks

We’re just 10 days away from the country’s best winter festival, Vivid Sydney, taking over the city in all its technicolour glory. On top of the already-announced line-up of incredible music, talks and lights that’ll flood our cityscape, Vivid LIVE has now offered up even more, with two insightful artist talks. The best part? They’re free.

The two talks will take place at the Sydney Opera House‘s Northern Foyer (it’s right at the very back of the Opera House, for those unfamiliar). It’s an incredibly rare opportunity to get up close and personal with two musical luminaries for absolutely zilch.

The first will be a conversation between Nick Murphy, who just released a new EP, Missing Link, and Triple R presenter Lauren Taylor. The second will entail a conversation between Vivid LIVE curator Ben Marshall, and electronic super-producer Richie Hawtin. Among other things, the talk will cover the state of electronic music today, and why live performance is so crucial.
