‘Pay What You Can’ Glamping Has Landed At The US’ Most Stunning National Parks
Glamping might seem like the rich person’s camping, but now there’s a way to stay in a fine-as-hell tent no matter your budget. Under Canvas offers glamping inside eight iconic national parks in the United States, and travellers now have the chance to choose what they pay.
The eco-friendly glamping company wants to give travellers immersive outdoor escapes in some of the most beautiful spots in the world. It has tents at the Grand Canyon, Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone, Moab, Great Smoky Mountains, Tuscon and Zion and Glacier National Parks.
Under Canvas tents come complete with ensuite bathrooms, wood stoves and private decks. Some even come with stargazing windows – what a sight to behold! Glamping usually starts at US$149 (AU$216) per night, but now there’s a way to score a stay in one and only pay what you can afford.

Wannabe glampers can apply for a cheap tent with Under Canvas here. You’ll need to tell them why you’re applying, when and where you want to stay and the total price you can afford for the holiday. The deadline is June 4, and then Under Canvas will pick some lucky travellers for an affordable stay in a tent that rivals any luxury hotel.
If you’re chosen, you’ll get to enjoy everything on offer at the glamping sites. Activities vary between sites, but you could be going horseback riding at the Grand Canyon, dining at a Cowboy Cookout in Yellowstone, relaxing in a hot tub in Tuscon or getting up close and personal with the statues of past US Presidents at Mount Rushmore.
Under Canvas launched the campaign as a way to help everybody enjoy a holiday, no matter their budget.
