Travel Hack Of The Day: Using Your Phone In Cold Weather

Something most Aussies struggle with when faced with a truly cold European winter is all the extra layers – hats and gloves and thermals and even double socks. It gets damn cold out there. But the one thing standing between you and your Tinder date is your thick gloves. They won’t let you use your touchscreen phone, making your frantic swiping useless.

Luckily our buddies at Contiki have come up with the perfect solution to Tindering in winter and not freezing your hands off in the process.

So you can’t seem to swipe right on that snow bunny because your glove is covering your finger.

The solution? Conductive thread.

Stitch a little under the thumb of your glove to make a circuit between your finger and your touch screen.
