This Espresso Martini Festival Is The Perfect Excuse For A Trip To Melbourne

The beverage that asks ‘why choose between coffee and alcohol?’ is finally getting the commemoration it deserves with the announcement of this new espresso martini festival.

After Sydney recently opened its first bar dedicated entirely to this bevvie of the gods, Melbourne has answered by announcing its inaugural espresso martini festival, organised by Mr Black, Australian producers of specialty black coffee liquor.

The festival, much like the cocktail itself, will be serviced by a perfect combo of coffee, milk and booze suppliers; Beat Coffee, Coast, Campos and Rushmore will be providing the good bean juice, Milklab will bring the dash of cream, and Ketel One Vodka and Two Birds Brewing will bring the booze.

You can also expect food trucks, good tunes, and ‘coffee pong’, whatever that may be. Good luck sleeping, hey.
