The Snow Season Has Arrived Early This Year

It’s officially the start of winter and the weather has followed suit with snowfall hitting a number of skiing destinations across the southeast of the country. Mt Buller recorded 10 centimetres of snowfall yesterday and up to 30 centimetres of snow has come down on Perisher and Thredbo.

With the ski boots are packed and thermals ready, here’s ten awesome Instagrams from the weekend that will get you in the mood for a snow getaway.

Thredbo

To get the season started in style, Thredbo are throwing a Queen’s Birthday party this long weekend with a mixed bag of live music, hot pool parties, fireworks and sweet after hours parties. The Preatures will headline Saturday night at Thredbo’s Village Square with support from Sydney’s Red Wine Roses. Perth trio Crooked Colours will be turning the heat up at the Rekorderlig Poolside party so don’t forget your bikinis and board shorts.
