There’s no lack of colour in beautiful, coastal Koh Samui, but a new contemporary hotel is making waves with the addition of an eye-catching red-hued pool.

Voted one of the world’s most spectacular hotel pools by TripAdvisor and Conde Nast, the striking effect is created by an intricate mosaic of orange, yellow and red tiles. It’s quite a contrast to the clear ocean water beyond.

Located on picturesque Chaweng Beach, the hotel is named for its gorgeous on-site library, which guests are invited to use freely during their stay. It has an impressive collection of over 1400 books, while literary tropes appear elsewhere in features like the Bookmark suite and an on-site restaurant called The Page.

The hotel itself consists of 46 contemporary studios, suites and pool villas, with the sleek, minimalist design changing from room to room. Pops of bright red on a crisp, white palette feature throughout.
