This London Cafe Will Print Your Face On Your Coffee

Tea Terrace selifieccino

Do you enjoy your coffee with a splash of, well, you? If so, you’re in for a treat, because one London café will personalise your caffeine fix by slapping your face right on top.

The Tea Terrace is a quaint and quirky English tea room that serves breakfast lunch and afternoon tea, dishing up everything from soups and salads to steaks and pastas. While the café’s extensive 32-page menu of goodies is impressive in itself, its newest addition — the “selfieccino” — has made it an Instagrammer’s dream.

Here’s how it works: Customers order their beverage, send their favourite selfie through the café’s app and the barista uploads the pic to a special machine known as the “Cino”. It works some magic using flavourless food colouring and voila! Your face appears in the froth.

In the first four days since the selfieccino’s debut last Saturday, the café had sold more than 400 of the suckers. And, for $10 (£5.75), you can get your hands on one, too.

Never has there been such hype over coffee. Well, maybe except for Ryan Gosling Lattes.
