Sydney’s Getting A Fancy New Night Market Full Of Local Foodie Faves
As part of Vivid Sydney’s 2017 line-up, Carriageworks has announced a gigantic night market featuring food from all our local favourites. For one night only on June 16, vendors from Three Blue Ducks, Firedoor, Cairo Takeaway and Nilgiri’s, to name but a few, will be setting up shop at the venue. And it’s a bigger food market than Carriageworks has ever done before.
All the available food will be inspired by the theme of “Cooking with fire”, so we’ll be expecting a lot of chargrilled deliciousness. Lennox Hastie from Firedoor will be curating the event, as well as smoking potatoes and grilling octopus. You can also expect piri piri chicken from Three Blue Ducks, chargrilled corn with butter by Pepe Saya, smoked potato curry by Lankan Filling Station and smoky goat empanadas by Tequila Mockingbird. La Bastide will even be flambeing foie gras.

Drinks will be provided by people like Young Henrys, Archie Rose and Eloquesta Wines, among others, with desserts by Dessertmakers, Mr Goaty Gelato and The Pines Kiama.
