PSA: A Bunch of Sydney Venues Are Doubling Your NSW Dine & Discover Vouchers
New South Wales (and Australia in general) has been dealing with COVID-19 like champs, but that doesn’t lessen the impact the hospitality and entertainment industries continue to face. To encourage us to get out and support these venues when they need it most, the NSW government introduced the Dine & Discover vouchers. Now, two hospitality groups are making the offer even sweeter.
The initiative totals $100 in vouchers, with two $25 vouchers to be used for eating in at restaurants, cafes, bars, pubs and clubs and another two $25 vouchers for entertainment and recreation, including cultural institutions, live music, and arts venues.
Piggybacking off this great push, two hospitality groups – Sydney Collective and Australian Venue Co — are giving you the opportunity to double those Dine & Discover vouchers if you choose to spend them at their venues. That means your $25 voucher actually scores you $50 off your food.

The Sydney collective’s eight establishments include Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel, the Morrison Bar and Oyster Room, the Imperial in Erskineville, Park House, Northies, Manly’s Daniel San, the city’s Taylor’s Rooftop, and Balcony in Byron Bay.
Australian Venue Co’s establishments include Cargo Bar, Bungalow 8, Kingsleys in Woolloomooloo, The Rook, Beer Deluxe, The Loft, The Winery, Barangaroo rooftop Untied and Manly Wine.
There are a couple of caveats, like the fact you can only use each voucher once and individually, including if your transaction totals less than $25. Spending them on booze is also off the cards, but you still have $25 off your meal (outside the house!) – which doubles to $50 off your food bill if you hit up any of the above eateries or bars.
You can also only use the dining vouchers Monday through Thursday and excluding public holidays.
The program kicks off fully at the end of February. For more info on the Dine & Discover vouchers NSW program, the fine print and how to get involved, click here.
