Sydney Just Got A Pop-Up Dessert Museum So There Goes My Health Kick

Sugar Republic

Are you hankering for something sweet, like ice cream, lollies or bubblegum galore? Get ready! After a wildly successful run in Melbourne and Brisbane, Australia’s favourite sugary sweet pop-up exhibition, Sugar Republic, has come to Sydney.

Reminiscent of the now Insta-famous Museum of Ice Cream, which has toured the US for the past few years, Sugar Republic has everything a sugar addict could ever want and more.

The space is kitted out with a giant gumball machine big enough to climb inside, an adult-sized and pretty-in-pink ball pit, an igloo constructed of doughnuts, a fairy floss room, an enormous birthday cake you can jump out of, an interactive sprinkles wall and heaps more.

It’s seriously the closest thing you’ll get to Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory. Plus, there are all the sugary snacks – like ice cream and lollipops – you could ever want, all included in the price of your ticket. Did someone say fairy floss eating competition?

The Sugar Republic pop-up is open in Sydney from now till May 20 on the sixth floor of Myer in the CBD (436 George Street, Sydney). You can get more info here, and book tickets here.

What are you waiting for? Go get your sweet fix and Insta snaps.

Check out Qantas flights and begin your next adventure.
