Sleep Steps From The Slopes In These Luxury Tree House Chalets

Ski trips are hard to beat, but lugging your skis to and from the slopes can feel like a chore. But what if we told you there’s some new snow-side accommodation just 1m from the run?

The Snow Bear Chalets at Whitefish Mountain Resort in Western Montana are built at 10m above the forest floor and right beside the slopes, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that allow uninterrupted and unmatched views of the surrounding Glacier National Park.

Each cabin is fitted with luxe custom-made features, including twinkling fibre-optic lights that form constellations in the ceiling.

Other lush additions include sunken private hot tubs on treetop decks and opulent and expansive master bedrooms.

The spot where chalets were opened to the public in September is unique, being the only slope-side plot in the area. Whitefish Mountain Resort is great skiing too, with more than 3000 acres of mixed terrain to shred.

Prices start at $5075 per week, and the tree houses sleep up to 10 people, meaning you and your crew could each pitch up for a measly $72.50 per night. For bookings or more information, visit the website.

See you on the slopes.
