Blow Off Steam At This Pop-Up By Smashing Stuff With A Baseball Bat

When it comes to finding ways to relax after a long day, everyone has their different methods of getting the job done. Some play competitive sport, some hit the gym, some play video games, and others destroy household items with a baseball bat.

And at Sydney’s newest pop-up experience, you can do just that.

The Smash Box pop-up at Rhodes Waterside shopping centre is a miniature version of the Smash Brothers’ warehouse that opened in Alexandria at the beginning of this month.

At Smash Box, you’ll find yourself in a box, kitted out in protective gear, a bat and something to destroy. You’ll also be able to pick your own tunes to pump yourself up before going ham and smashing stuff. Did someone say ‘Wrecking Ball’?

Because it’s just a pop-up, the only items you’ll be smashing are six-packs of bottles. Your first six-pack’s free, but if you’ve still got more pent up anger to deal with, an additional six will set you back $5.

And, if after all that you’re still not satisfied, venture out to Smash Brothers’ for the real thing, where you can smash everything from fridges to washing machines.
