Get $1 Lunches All Week In Sydney Thanks To This Food App

Boomers may tell you things like: “The Melbourne Cup isn’t evil,” or “meal prep is great”. These things are lies. We’ve got good news about one of those lies, though, because the food app Ritual is offering $1 lunches all week long to hungry diners in Sydney.

Ritual is the new kid on the block of food ordering apps, having launched here late last year. Unlike Uber Eats, Ritual doesn’t have delivery drivers — so you’ll save on the extra fee and get in a nice walk to pick up your $1 lunch.

Speaking of, from now until this Friday, November 8, you can order from any of the participating restaurants on Ritual and only pay $1 for your food.

There are 250 restaurants in Sydney’s CBD, Barangaroo and North Sydney getting in on the offer, so you can score sweet dollar deals on select food items like dumplings, burgers, bao, and toasties. Get an eight-inch pizza from Fratelli Famous, pitas from Zeus Street Greek, the famous mie goreng toastie from Dutch Smuggler or a cold brew bubble cup from Industry Beans for just 1 dollarydoo.

You’ll be able to claim up to three $1 orders during the week, which should just about cover the rest of your lunches, or even nab you a couple of cheap-as-hell coffees. The offer is available on any orders you place between 5am and 5pm, so get creative!

The offer is available to new users on Ritual, or any existing user who refers a friend to sign up for the app. You’ll also be limited to a single $1 order per day, and per restaurant, so don’t save them all up until Friday.

Ritual is available to download on iOS and Android, or you can use the browser version here. Find out more details here.
