Regional Travel For NSW Is Back On The Cards From June 1, So Time To Plan A Road Trip
OH. MY. GOD. Grab your overnighter and start planning your itineraries because we have an official date for when in-state holidays can resume in New South Wales: June 1.
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian had remained fairly cautious around lifting lockdown restrictions, but my golly she’s gone and announced all regional travel with in the state will be allowed, for any reason, even holidays. We’re joining other states and territories who have made the move to allow regional travel, including Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
This is obviously glorious news for us — I don’t know about you but I’ve been going mental over here — but it’s even better news for our tourism industry. So basically I’m now taking it as my own personal duty to pump money back into the economy, you’re welcome.
Now, the borders might be remaining closed for the time being, but my fellow New South Welshmen, do you even REALISE how much there is to do in our state alone?

Then there are the world-class restaurants re-opening for business in Sydney, and around the state. Speaking of Sydney, it was also dubbed the most Instagrammable city in the WORLD earlier this year.
