First thing’s first: you can book flights through the app. So, if the urge to travel suddenly pops up while you’re on the bus or doing your shopping, you can just pull out your phone. Or even, I don’t know, covertly book a holiday while you’re sitting at your office desk… Just spit balling here.

Once your flight is booked (jealous), you can use the Qantas App to manage your booking and select a seat right up until check-in opens. You can also get a copy of your boarding pass on the app, so you can check in on selected flights with your phone.

The app will send you alerts about check-in, departure gate and boarding times, so you can avoid the panic and last-minute rush to the gate (again, jealous).

Need a place to stay, or a way to get there? Book your hotel or request an Uber* through the app from any eligible Australian airport to earn Qantas Points if you’re a Frequent Flyer member^. Members earn 3 Qantas Points per A$1 spent when booking a stay through Qantas Hotels~. Check your points balance through the app to see those numbers ticking up as you earn!
