This Incredible Prosecco Festival Is Coming Back To Melbourne

Get ready to celebrate what could be the classiest fizzy drink out there. The Prosecco Festival Melbourne is back on Saturday February 23.

At the second event of its kind, held at Northcote Town Hall Arts Centre, you’ll be able to sample more than 40 different types of the Italian sparkling wine variety, from local favourites (such as Dal Zotto, Pizzini, and Brown Brothers) and international stars.

You can also sit back at the Spritz Garden bar, which will be serving up drinks from mobile spritz bar Van di Vino. Aperol Spritz anyone?

Don’t worry if you work up a thirst while tasting all those bubbles, the Prosecco Festival has you covered with famous Melbourne cheese masters Milk the Cow serving up specially created cheese boards from more than 180 cheeses, designed to match and enhance your prosecco.

Also on board are 400 Gradi, Gelato Papa, Eat Cannoli, Arancini Art and Yarra Valley Caviar, so you’re unlikely to go hungry.

Book into one of two sessions on the day: fr0m 11am to 3pm, or from 4pm to 8pm. General admission tickets cost $50, and tastings by the glass cost $10 (purchase tasting tokens on entrance to the venue). VIP tickets cost $100, adding a 45-minute prosecco masterclass including four tastings paired with antipasto and cheese.
