Photo Gallery: Dark Mofo 2015
A nude winter solstice swim at dawn. A fit-for-a-king banquet of food to feast on. The crafting, carrying and ritual burning of a Balinese demon sculpture. A secretive after party where anything could happen. Music. Art. Darkness. All of this unfolded at Dark Mofo, Hobart’s mid-winter festival, which wrapped up on the weekend. AWOL’s photographer Kristoffer Paulsen was there to capture some of the weirdness and wonder. He also took the opportunity to explore and photograph greater Tasmania, driving up to Lake St Clair and back via the Greater Lakes area.
