Peter Pan’s Neverland Exists And Film Theorists Have Found Its Exact Location

It's a lot closer than the second star on the right ✨

Travelling the world in search of the real life filming locations of our favourite flicks is a sport for some, but what about our favourite make-believe lands?

The Film Theorists on YouTube have recently claimed a major discovery for the history books: they say they’ve found Peter Pan‘s Neverland.

So where is Neverland? Just of the coast of Belize in Central America, in Turneffe Atoll, so it turns out.

You’ll find Turneffe Atoll just 30km off the coast of Belize. It’s of the three atolls in the Belize Barrier Reef, famed for its rich marine life and pristine beaches.

The Film Theorists team say they were able to pinpoint the very exact location of Peter and Wendy’s home by using a bunch of clues from texts and films from over the years. They took into account clues from the OG J.M Barrie book, the 1953 animated film and Captain Hook’s history with Blackbeard the pirate, to find the location where he may have sailed to find the fountain of youth.

They went deep, picking up on subtle clues like “fly to the second star on the right, and straight on till morning”, and were sure to note the famous London landmarks in the film to estimate which direction Peter and Wendy were flying.

The theory is wild, but the country of Belize is completely sold, and wants you to check it out for yourself. What’re you waiting for? Add a pinch of magic to your next overseas holiday.
