Perth Is Getting A New 3-Day Music Festival On The Beach

Summer’s here and it can mean only one thing: beach parties! And what better way to kick things off than by making a beeline for the idyllic coastline of North Fremantle for Port Beach Weekender?

Spread across three days and two venues, the Port Beach Weekender is the first of its kind in WA, combining a bunch of cool parties and performances into one – including a brand new party for fans of bass, beats and breaks, BAY-SS.

Kicking off on March 10, 2017 and running through ’til the 12th, this epic music showcase will bring together your favourite beach parties Sets on the Beach and Sundown Sessions as well as a host of free (free!) events at the brand new Beach Club, Coast Port Beach.

The Port Beach Weekender marks the 21st edition of Sets on the Beach. To celebrate they’re throwing an end of summer party set to feature a sandy dance floor, stellar DJs and bands as well as some killer views of the Indian Ocean. For a more relaxed vibe, there’s Sundown Sessions, who have previously hosted the likes of Angus & Julia Stone, Paul Kelly, Xavier Rudd and The Rubens in cosy acoustic sets.

Best to just block out that weekend in your calendar now – you won’t want to miss this.
