Vic Street Summer Party Perth

Vic Park Summer Street Party

Now that spring is here, street parties are slowly starting to reappear on the calendar. The first cab off the rank is the Vic Park Summer Street Party, which will see the the busy Albany Highway closed off and a festival set up down the café strip in Vic Park!

Stroll the length of the street and browse the market stalls, dance to the live tunes, scope the food and drink options, and make a quick stop off at the petting zoo (who said it was just for the kids?). Expect to see local cafes and restaurants opening up their alfresco areas, as well as all of the street food stalls under the sun. There will also be pop-up bars dotted along the festival – the perfect place to take a break from the massive crowds organisers are expecting!

Fremantle Festival

Fremantle Festival

There is no better way to celebrate the people and culture of Fremantle than with 10 days of what Fremantle is best known for – the arts.

The Fremantle Festival kicked off in late October, but there’s still plenty to see in November, too. Big comedy names Frank Woodley and Sam Simmons are set to perform during the festival, as well as a host of home-grown musical, comedic and artistic talent. The art installations are free for anyone to enjoy, but some events are ticketed.

Little Creatures Beerfest Fremantle

It isn’t quite as epic as Munich’s Oktoberfest, but the Little Creatures Beerfest is just as fun. Held in the sun at Esplanade Park – right across from WA’s most successful craft beer brewery, Little Creatures – the beerfest will showcase 40 craft beers, ciders and spirits, strictly from WA.

While you’re down there, brush up on some beer knowledge with a beer and food-matching class, cooking demonstration or craft beer masterclasses. There’s plenty of entertainment too, with stacks of live music and roving street performers throughout the festival.

Tickets start from $28.00
