A Nicolas Cage Movie Marathon Is Happening In Melbourne Because There Is No God

The exact point in time when Nicolas Cage transitioned from respected, accomplished, Oscar-winning actor to internet meme is hard to pinpoint.

Whether you love him, hate him or love to hate him, there’s a 12-hour Nicolas Cage Marathon happening in Melbourne next month and there’s nothing you can do to stop it.

The Cage-a-thon is part of Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF), an annual film festival held over three weeks in Victoria’s capital.

It’s all going down on Friday, August 10 at The Astor Theatre, where guests will endure experience 12 hours of non-stop Nic.

There are more than 70 potential Nicolas Cage films to pick from, but due to time constraints, only seven will be screened. Things will kick off with Cage’s newest – and craziest – flick Mandy, followed by Raising Arizona, Red Rock West, Vampire’s Kiss, The Wicker Man, Dave Angry and Con Air to wrap things up.
