The Sydney Opera House Is Throwing A VIP New Year’s Party & You Could Get Tickets For $10

Sydney Harbour is one of the best places in the world to experience New Year’s Eve. There’s nowhere better if you wanna watch the fireworks, but trying to get a good spot is, quite frankly, hell. If you really want the best seat in the house, you’ll snap up tickets to the Sydney Opera House’s New Year’s Eve party.

Sydney Opera House and Airbnb have teamed up to throw the ultimate NYE party. You’ll get dinner overlooking the harbour — served up by acclaimed Aussie chef Karen Martini, no less — an intimate concert by a mystery act and the best seats in the city to watch the fireworks. And, plot twist: tickets are just $10.

Sadly, there’s a catch. There are only ten of those cheap AF tickets up for grabs, and you’ll have just five chances to buy them.

The Opera House will be releasing a double pass each Wednesday for the next five weeks — and the first one goes on sale today at midday.

If you want a shot at the double passes, head over to the website and be ready to go when the clock strikes 12. You’ll be battling it out with everyone else, of course, but someone has to be the lucky owner of those sweet $10 tickets to VIP stardom — why not you?

Each double pass will cost you $20, but that’s still just $20 for the best view in the entire city and endless bragging rights. Party goers will also be taken on a special tour of the Opera House, and up to a private balcony for the big moment.

If you miss out on tickets, there are plenty of spots around the city to catch a glimpse of the fireworks for free.
