Life’s hard. For example, sometimes you have to decide between seeing a movie and staying in a comfy bed. But Sydney’s famous Mov’in Bed Cinema lets you do both, and this year its hitting the road to bring joy to the rest of Aus. Halle — say it with me now — lujah!
Mov’in Bed Cinema lets movie-goers watch a flick on the big screen from the comfort of a plush queen size bed. The beds come with blankets and pillows, and even LED-lit bedside tables. It’s like you’re watching Netflix in bed, but it’s the new release film you’ve been dying to see.

After years of wildly successful screenings, Mov’in Bed is finally hitting the road. It’s popping up in Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth later this year, and while the exact details are yet to be announced, you can expect the same kind of comfy beds, blockbuster screenings and gourmet cinema snacks.
Beds start at $40 and can fit up to three people each, and there’s also a cheaper grass area for people who’re happy with a BYO picnic rug.
Screenings usually kick off in November each year, so watch this space to see when the Australian tour starts in each city.
