Mov’In Bed Cinema Just Dropped A Stacked 2020 Program For Its First-Ever Melbourne Season

Mov'In Bed Cinema: The First-Ever Melbourne Program Announced

We’re blessed with an abundance of outdoor cinemas during the warmer months, but none are as cute as Mov’In Bed, which is exactly what it sounds like — a place where moviegoers can watch a blockbuster in a comfy bed.

After spoiling Sydney for four seasons, Mov’In Bed is finally going on the road this summer. The Melbourne lineup has just been announced, and it’s truly an awesome debut for the cinema’s first intercity adventure.

Missed out on seeing something at the cinemas earlier this year? Mov’In Bed is showing Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and Brad Pitt’s new space flick Ad Astra. It’s also got old classics like Dirty DancingJaws and Pulp Fiction, and everybody’s new favourite holiday romcom, Last Christmas.

You can watch them all on the big screen from the comfort of a plush queen-size bed, with an American-style diner delivering burgers, pizzas and shakes straight to your cosy cocoon. Blankets and pillows are provided, of course.

There are 150 beds for you to share with a date or a mate, and even a cheaper grass area for people who are happy with a BYO picnic rug.

The Melbourne screenings kick off on January 4 and run every night (except Mondays) from sunset, around 8:45pm. Movies start at sunset, around 8:35pm. Tickets start at $36.90 per person for a bed, or $9 for the grass area. Get them here.
