Move Over George’s Bar, A Larry David Inspired Cafe Is Here
If you thought Melbourne had reached peak hip with their George Constanza inspired bar in Fitzroy, then they’ve definitely taken things up a notch with this one. A Larry David themed bagel shop is opening in Thornbury and our feelings are summed up accurately here:
When seminal television icon Larry David isn’t adding proof to the theory that he’s really US Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders, or getting asked on dates by Jennifer Lawrence, he’s obviously inspiring cafes in hip Melbourne suburbs. Yep, that makes sense.
Larry David’s, which hasn’t yet opened, is set to be a “New York inspired bagelry with a focus on good coffee, juices and delicious takeaway bagels”, according to the cafe’s Facebook page. This is all we know about Larry David’s – though we are sure it’s going to be a pretty pretty pretty pretty good homage to the man behind Curb Your Enthusiam and Seinfeld.
Larry David’s will set up shop at 461 St. George’s Road, Thornbury some time in the near future.
