Grab Your Glitter: Melbourne’s Getting A Unicorn Food Festival

Who would have thought 2017’s preeminent trend would be unicorns? Unicorn food, unicorn hair, unicorn… workout supplements? Our collective social media feeds can’t get enough of it.

Now, Melbourne’s getting right in on the trend by hosting its very own Unicorn Festival. That’s right, there’ll finally be a real-life home for all the colour, wonder, myth, magic and silliness.

Highlights include unicorn doughnuts from Doughboys and St Gerry’s, as well as rainbow creations from the people at Bistro Morgan. You’ll also get to sample unicorn biscuits from Vickie Lui and custom chocolates by Only Mine. So much sugary, rainbow goodness.

The festival will held over two days — Thursday August 3 and Friday August 4, 2017 — from 5pm to 9pm at Melbourne Central.

There’s no word yet on whether actual unicorns will be in attendance, but we’ll keep you updated. Either way, there’s no shame in dressing for the occasion, right?
