Hey Superhero Fans, A Marvel Marathon Is Coming To Melbourne

Attention comic book nerds: it’s time to iron out your capes and dust off your hulk hands, because Melbourne is putting on an enormous Marvel marathon in January.

Can you believe it’s been 10 years since Iron Man, the first Marvel flick hit screens?

Yep, to celebrate a decade of absolute bangers, The Astor Theatre in St Kilda is chucking a Marvel marathon. The theatre will be showing 18 of the films over 48 hours starting 11am on Saturday January 5, 2019. You can purchase a pass for all 18 movies or single-day passes.

The marathon won’t include Spider-Man: Homecoming or The Incredible Hulk, but don’t let that stop you from tagging along, kicking back and getting stuck into some popcorn and choc tops.

Tickets cost $65 for the full two-day marathon, or $40 for each single day. That’s a bargain, really – if you buy the full pass that equates to $3.61 per film.

• Take the SkyBus towards City to SkyBus terminal
• Take a route 11 or 48 tram to Town Hall/Collins Street
