LA Is Getting A New Bakery Serving Up A Whole Menu Of S’Mores

If you haven’t yet had the pleasure of trying a s’more, then you haven’t yet lived. S’mores are the quintessential American campfire dessert and soon there’s going to be an entire bakery dedicated to the iconic treat.

The traditional s’more involves a fire-roasted marshmallow and a piece of chocolate sandwiched between two graham crackers. It’s a humble yet soul-warming dessert snack and it’s being brought from the campsite to the buzzing Fairfax area of LA by a new bakery aptly titled Gotta Have S’More.

Gotta Have S’More is pumping out mini s’mores that offer unique and quirky takes on the classic recipe. What gained traction as an online business is now moving into a bricks-and-mortar location where they’ll be serving up special s’more flavours including salted caramel, pumpkin pie, peanut-butter and jelly, Mexican hot chocolate and a whole lot more.

There’s a constant flow of fresh flavours and the s’mores are always adorable and decorated to perfection.

The bakery is the latest venture of LA culinary star, Annalisa Mastroianni Johnson, who’s renowned for launching her home-cooked meal delivery service that became hugely popular and gathered a collection of star clients including Cher, Queen Latifah, Robert De Niro and Stevie Nicks.

“It’s been really fun to be able to take those core ingredients and create a fresh take, while still keeping the integrity of it’s traditional counterpart,” Johnson told Lonely Planet. “We just launched our S’mookie,” She said, “which is a s’more and cookie combo that replaces graham-cracker with cookie. It’s the brainchild of my son, and it’s been very popular. We are excited to see our brand grow in a whole new way.”

Gotta Have S’More will open at 1066 S Fairfax Ave on June 7, 2018.
