London’s Natural History Museum Is Throwing A Huge NYE Bash

London’s Natural History Museum is a dreamland for nerds who love learning about the world. It’s an institution of discovery; it’s like Sir David Attenborough, but a building. If you’re in town, it’s a must-see, especially if you happen to be there for New Year’s Eve.

The museum has announced its first ever NYE bash this year, taking place in the iconic cathedral-like Hintze Hall, which – no big deal – has a freakin’ dinosaur skeleton right in the middle of it. The dinosaur skeleton is a Diplodocus named Dippy, and this party will be the last time to see it before it sets off on a UK tour. Those dinosaurs; such jetsetters.

Held in partnership with party-bringers Guilty Pleasures, the night kicks off with a complimentary drink, followed by a whip through the Dinosaur gallery and a huge dance floor fuelled by pop anthems. VIP packages include a three-course dinner and pre-event function.

The night runs from 8pm ’til 1am over NYC 2016/17, and tickets start at $207AUD for non-members of the museum. But it’s all worth it for A Night at the Museum. (That’s a movie pun.)
