KFC Just Released A Zinger Brekkie Recipe And We Want It Immediately

KFC Zinger brekky on a plate.

I’m a millennial, which means I’m obsessed with my phone, I can cook exactly three things without accidentally starting a small fire, and I love avocado on toast! Points two and three are why I’m excited about the KFC Zinger brekky recipe that just dropped.

KFC is pivoting to the smashed avo game. Except, instead of loading up a slice of sourdough with a heaping mountain of avocado, the recipe replaces the bread with Zinger fillets.

Just add crispy bacon, cherry tomatoes, feta and home-made guac. You can even add a drizzle of KFC’s Supercharged sauce if you want to give it an extra kick.

The recipe serves two, so you can make it for you and your partner or your favourite housemate. Or, more accurately, treat yourself to second breakfast.

Here’s How You Make A KFC Zinger Brekky:

Ingredients:

Pilbara Broome West Australia WA

  • 2 x Zinger Fillet (you can order the fillets on their own over the counter, FYI)
  • 2/3 cup smashed avocado or guacamole
  • 6 x cherry tomatoes
  • 20g feta
  • 2 x rasher bacon
  • Supercharged sauce

Method:

  1. Prepare the smashed avocado by mixing avocado, lime juice, salt, pepper and coriander
  2. Cook the bacon until crispy
  3. Plate up your Zinger Fillet and spread smashed avocado on it
  4. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and place on top
  5. Crumble the feta on top
  6. Arrange the bacon on top and drizzle with Supercharged sauce
  7. Tuck in and enjoy!

All this, right after KFC released the recipe for a Zinger parmy and Zinger Nasi Goreng. I don’t know what we did to deserve this, but keep it up!

KFC have also dropped a few hints that there are more recipes incoming. Please join me in keeping an eye out for whatever recipe they give a Zinger-twist to next. Personally, I can’t wait to eat each and every one of them until I have a stomach ache.
