Jetstar Is Running Their Infamous ‘Return For Free’ Sale Again, So Set Your Alarms
Jetstar is running their excellent ‘return for free’ sale again, with domestic fares starting at $65 – meaning you can score flights for as little as $32.50 each way.
Everyone loves a bargain, especially on flights, and Jetstar ‘return for free’ promotions are always super popular as a result. After the success of November’s run, the airline is now offering 400,000 return trips on 57 domestic routes (a few more than last time).
The sale is currently available to Club Jetstar Members, who gain early access until 11:59pm tonight, March 4. Then, it’s a free-for-all – the rest of us can get involved and book some much-needed time gallivanting around Australia. The sale runs until 11:59pm Sunday March 7.

There are pretty specific travel periods listed in order to nab the budget fares, but Jetstar have provided windows from April 2021 that stretch all the way to the end of the year. They’ve even made the possibility of spending Christmas at Uluru an option.
There are new routes to Hervey Bay (listed as one of Australia’s best regional towns) and the incomparable Hamilton Island, plus loads of popular travel spots like the Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Cairns, The Whitsundays, Hobart and Perth.
The entry price starts with Sydney or Adelaide to Melbourne (Avalon) for $65 return.
But there are so many great options to explore some of Australia’s gems: Melburnians can fly to Newcastle for $77 return with Port Stephens in mind, where you must go quad biking before hitting the beach. Brisbanites can get to Darwin for obvious reasons for $165 return. Adelaideans can hit up the Gold Coast for $145 return, a great launch point to explore the GC hinterland, Tweed region, Kingscliff and Cabarita. Sydneysiders can drink in Noosa and beyond with Sunshine Coast flights for $96 return.

Obviously, these prices don’t include checked baggage. And if you’re worried about more outbreaks disrupting your holiday plans, updated Jetstar policies entitle customers who purchase flights affected by border changes to receive a credit voucher to the full value of their booking, subject to terms and conditions.
