The spookiest night of the year is approaching, and the biggest question isn’t about what to wear (here’s some topical last minute ideas for that), but where to spend it. Don’t stress though, we’ve found a street party that’s so awesome you’ll never want to spend Halloween anywhere else – and it just so happens to be the biggest celebration in the world.
Set your sights on West Hollywood – this hip enclave is the hottest place to spend Halloween, and it’s officially home to the world’s biggest street party where spooky monsters, on trend political costumes and some last-minute ragamuffins come together for the West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval.
The carnaval sees about 500,000 people take to the streets of Santa Monica Boulevard for a scary romp on all hallow’s eve. There’s live entertainment, food vendors, photo booths, pub crawls and heaps more – just be prepared for a huge crowd, this one can get a little crazy.

If you’re in WeHo for Halloween this year, you’re in for a treat – the Carnaval is celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Rocky Horror Picture Show with Dr Frank-N-Furter himself, Tim Curry, gracing guests as the Honorary Mayor of West Hollywood.
There’ll also be an extra special performance by Boy George, legendary singer of Culture Club, on the main stage at Carnaval. It’s going to be huge.
