Instagram Just Released 5 New Filters
Today, in the spirit of giving, Instagram have released five new filters to transform your travel photos into something even more spiffy. A new Instagram filter isn’t something to scoff at – the last time they did it they added just two new filters (Mayfair and Willow) and that was two entire years ago.
The new Instagram filters are named Slumber, Crema, Ludwig, Aden and Perpetua and they offer a softer and subtler edit to your pictures – a nice option to some of the existing heavy-handed filters.
There is also now a way to toggle your filters and rearrange them so your favourites show up first and the ones you use rarely stay at the bottom of the chain. And let’s be real, does anyone really want their life shaded in Kelvin or Toaster?
Instagram has been facing competition from minimal photo editing apps like VSCO Cam over the past couple of years, so these new built-in filters will give them a significant edge over their competition.
