Here’s How You Can Win A Round-The-World Flight By Dressing Up

Australia’s favourite travelling day of sport is back for the summer, and as per tradition, it’s going to be one hell of a dress up party.

The Victoria Bitter One Day International series cricket matches have returned, and this year, guests who get into the spirit of things and dress up in costume for the event could end up winning themselves an economy round-the-world ticket for two – talk about the ultimate upgrade.

All you need to do to be in the running is get your ODI ticket, don your favourite costume (be it a superhero, TV show character or even a watermelon as a helmet), snap a pic and share it to Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #ODIdressup (or upload it at this link). Even if you miss out on the flights, you could score a free seat upgrade at the match, so there’s no reason to not play along.

The Victoria Bitter ODI matches are kicking off with the first series – Australia against New Zealand – at the Sydney Cricket Ground on December 4, then travelling on to Canberra’s Manuka Oval on December 6 and the Melbourne Cricket Ground on December 9.

The second series – Australia against Pakistan – is kicking off at the Gabba in Brisbane on January 13, then heading on to the Melbourne Cricket Ground on January 15, the WACA in Perth on January 19, he Sydney Cricket Ground on January 22, and the Adelaide Oval on Australia Day.
