Bondi’s Newest Café Is Doing Its Bit To Combat Youth Unemployment

The only thing better than getting stuck into some poached eggs and sourdough on a lazy weekend morning is doing so while knowing you’re giving back to the community – even in the smallest way.

Bondi’s brand-new social enterprise venue, Heart Café will open its doors next Wednesday, November 14.

Yep, from next Wednesday Heart Café will be dishing up gourmet breakfasts, healthy salad bowls and bespoke dishes, all served alongside incredible-tasting coffee from Gypsy Espresso in its modern and light-filled space.

The café is Bondi’s first social enterprise café, where diners can relax and enjoy fresh, delicious local dishes while doing their bit to bridge the gap from unemployment to mainstream employment for some of Sydney’s most disadvantaged young people.

Heart Café’s aim is to create a community and culture where locals and visitors to Bondi can meet up and enjoy great company and even better food.

Plus, every dollar spent will go back into Wayside Chapel’s Wingspan project to transform the lives of young and disadvantaged young people through its trainee program, equipping these youth with the skills to succeed.

Mark your calendars, Heart Café will open its doors to the public on Wednesday, November 14.
