Your Puppy Could Feature In This Melbourne Rooftop Bar’s New Mural Wall
Everybody thinks their puppy is the cutest one, but now it’s time to find out if you’re just looking at your fluffball through rose-coloured glasses. Melbourne drinking hole, Harlow Bar, has launched a competition to find the cutest pups in the city.
Why? Because they want to feature said doggos in a rooftop wall mural.

How does it work? If you think your pooch is in the running, you’ll need to share an image of your dog on Instagram and tag it with @harlowbar, as well as adding the hashtag #puppypalsofharlow. You only have until 11.59pm on Monday August 10 to get that done, so better get thinking about your photoshoot.
Harlow Bar will pick their top 10 favourites, then leave it up to the rest of us to choose three winners from their selection between August 11 and 24.

The prize is legit too, not only will the winning furry pals be immortalised with a giant version of their mugs painted onto the wall, they’ll all get a custom Harlow dog hoodie and free doggy treats for life.
Don’t worry, there’s something in it for the owners too, besides the glory and bragging rights. Owners will score a $100 food and drink credit each to spend in the venue once it re-opens. If that’s not motivation to get through lockdown, I don’t know what is (ok yes, an end to coronavirus is probably better, but this is still pretty damn good!).
Our pets have been a great source of joy throughout these troubled times — from delivering groceries to rounding up escaped sheep — so they deserve a few free treats.
Heck, you could even take it a step further and get their furry faces printed onto a few face masks — cute AND keeping everyone healthy. What a strange new world we live in.
