Fearphobia Scream Park, Hawkesbury

Now in its third year, Fearphobia Scream Park has received absolute rave reviews. The setup is a full-scale US-style Halloween haunted house, staffed by more than 100 actors ready to jump out and scare the absolute bejesus out of you at every opportunity.

Sessions start at $40 per person, and run till late each night. Bookings are a must, so secure your spot via the Fearphobia website.

Spooktober Halloween Festival, Melbourne

Spooktober is Melbourne’s leading and most ooky spooky Halloween festival, jam packed with absolutely everything you could want for a creepy evening.

There are two haunted houses to explore, after dark tours, costume contests, Halloween-themed games, Melbourne’s best food trucks and more activities than you can poke a witch’s broomstick at.

Entry is free so get around it, Melburnians.

Birdees House Of Horrors Halloween Party, Brisbane

Looking to get spooked while partying to some of the best DJs in the Valley? Birdees House of Horrors Halloween Party is your best bet.

Just like last year, there’s going to be a pumpkin carving contest, a special effects makeup station, Redbull pop-up bar, and (of course) prizes for best costume.

Navigate the pitch-black home and don’t be surprised if someone just so happens to reach out and grab you, breathe down your neck or jump out from any corner to scare the bejesus out of you.

Electric Storm Halloween Music Festival, Darwin

Halloween is as good excuse as any to listen to some world-class tunes. Luckily, if you’re around Darwin, Electric Storm’s sixth annual Halloween Festival has you covered.

The festival is packing some seriously scary DJ talent with Will Sparks, The Sunset Bros, Oriental Cravings, Kate Fox, Guns X Gold, Holly j, Tom Bromley, Tjung and many more.

Plus, they will be showcasing some of the country’s most ghoulish dancers and performers to keep you on edge all night long.
