Gelato Messina Are Now Making Candles That Smell Like A Legit Snack

I don’t know about you, but something about spending so much time inside has made me obsessed with scented candles, probably because I’m finally home enough to enjoy them.

Everyone’s candle game is about to reach ‘whole snacc’ levels (yeah, I said it) thanks to the new collab between Gelato Messina and Maison Balzac.

Together they’ve created two honey-inspired candles that will only be around for a limited time.

The first is Miel d’Hiver, which means ‘winter honey’ in French. It’s made to smell like plants pollinated by bees in winter. You’ll get scents of thyme, lemon, cedarleaf, frankincense, nutmeg and more.

The second is Miel d’Ete, which you may have guessed means ‘summer honey’ in French. Along the same lines as the above, it’s meant to mimic the smell of flowers pollinated by bees in summer. You’ll get scents bergamot, hyacinth, jasmine, lily of the valley, musk patchouli and more.

To celebrate, Messina have even created a special honey gelato, with honeycomb and burnt honey caramel, which is in stores now until it runs out.

If the candles are tickling your tastes, they’re also available now and while stocks last. You can nab yours from the Maison Balzac website or from the following Messina stores around New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland:

  • Rosebery, NSW
  • Darlinghurst, NSW
  • Surry Hills, NSW
  • Bondi, NSW
  • Tramsheds, NSW
  • Fitzroy, VIC
  • South Brisbane, QLD
  • Fortitude Valley, QLD

You can nab the 300g candle with a 70-hour burn time for $69 or the smaller 55g candle with an 18-hour burn time for $29.
