Head To The Outback To Stay In The First Luxury Domes In NSW

Aerial shot of Faraway Domes and countryside

In what is some of the most extra accommodation we’ve ever seen, Faraway Domes has just launched its new luxe-as-hell stay in regional NSW.

Interior of Faraway Domes accommodation with bed, armchairs and tv.

Set on the private property of graziers Jamie and Belinda Munsie, the first dome is like an extra-lush version of glamping, with a king size four-poster bed, open-plan living and kitchen area, private bathroom and a 4m elevated deck with private outdoor bath. Check those views!

The dome is located on the family’s 3600 hectare property in the Warialda region of New South Wales, about an hour’s drive east of the town of Moree. Potential glampers can book now with the going rate from $372 per night.

There’s just one dome for now, but the family plans on opening more in the near future depending on its popularity. Our guess is there will be more domes to come.

While staying at the dome, you could check out a number of scenic bush walks, go sapphire fossicking, swim at nearby waterfalls or go fishing in the nearby Gwydir River. Or, you know, just chill out and enjoy the serenity.
