You Can Rent The Closest Thing To Barbie’s Dream House On Airbnb
Since it first exploded onto the accommodation scene, Airbnb has been turning up niche and unique property listings all over the world, with some so popular they’ve garnered months-long waiting lists.
But, tucked away in a quiet corner of the UK, one such property has taken its theme to the extreme: Eaton House, in Tiptree, Essex, is a house-sized monument to the colour pink.
It is, according to the listing, “a well-established photo/film location and bespoke venue” (Paris Hilton and Ruby Rose have both posed there) available for private hire, hens parties and even weddings. With space for up to 30 of your nearest and dearest, there’s a hot tub, open fire, outdoor bar, and plenty of unicorn-themed décor – though you’re also welcome to bring your own as the property is pet-friendly.
Described by hosts Amy and James as “an art piece that is constantly evolving”, the home has a coveted five-star rating and plenty of positive reviews from impressed former guests – one described their stay as “life-changing”, while another said it was “like stepping into a Salvador Dali painting”.
Starting at $3395 per night for 12 guests, or a meagre $280 each. Come on, Barbie, let’s go party!
