PSA: Disney Is Hiring For Theme Park Villains

Halloween at Disneyland

Being nice all the time can be exhausting. But, if you’re looking for a whole new world, a new fantastic point of view, it’s worth considering a career change to something where being evil is part of the job description: in celebration of the park’s 25-year anniversary, Disneyland Paris is hosting an open casting for some new villains to join its already impressive line-up.

Disneyland Paris

That’s right: The company’s Paris location is searching far and wide for thespians to fill the roles of those childhood characters we loved to hate. Roles up for grabs include 101 Dalmations’ Cruella de Vil, Maleficent and Princess and The Frog’s Dr Facilier.

If you think you have what it takes to be a villain, there are a few things you should know. Not only will you have to embrace the personality of the role fully, you also have to physically resemble the character. Each role has some pretty strict height restrictions that, if you don’t fit, you won’t be considered. You’ll have to be over the age of 18, and French-speaking applicants will be favoured.

Also, with the position being in Paris, probably only apply if you’re keen to relocate (like we’ll need to convince you).

So, if you consider yourself to be more of a beast than a beauty, Paris is calling. View the full casting call here.
