The Toyota Country Music Festival Returns To Tamworth For Its 46th Year

Every January, droves of music lovers flock to Tamworth, NSW for the Toyota Country Music Festival (TCMF) – Australia’s biggest and best music festival, and one of the top 10 largest in the world.

So what is it that keeps the crowds returning close to half a century on? The talent, of course!

The TCMF continues to shine the spotlight on some of the best music acts Australia has to offer. The festival’s annual Toyota Star Maker competition has discovered some of the biggest names in country music, including Lee Kernaghan and Keith Urban. Last weekend, the competition announced Brad Cox as the 2018 winner, and he’ll be performing all around the festival this year.

Arguably, one of the best parts of the festival is the hundreds of buskers, who dot Peel Street over the festival’s 10 days. The Toyota Busking Championships will showcase the best of the best, where over 400 buskers will compete every day for cash prizes.

The Toyota 4×4 Track Experience is another must-see while at TCMF, with a specially built track available for you to test drive with a range of Toyota SUVs.

You’ll find the Busking Championships and Toyota 4×4 Track Experience at Toyota Park, as well as the festival’s iconic closing ceremony due to take place this weekend.
